Gap Year Discussion

Hey everyone, I'm new here and currently applying to class of 2029, everything is submitted already so crossing my fingers! I know from lurking in the forums that a Gap Year is not really a possible thing to do. I was only wondering if anyone knows of any changes in policy as there is now a line in the application instructions addressing a gap year. It said to make a statement in the application for plans for said gap year but I didn't see anywhere to do that in the application. Just idle curiosity more than anything else. Thanks!
