Have any other congressional districts besides 5, 7, 8, and 13 made any appointments? I am hoping to hear something soon. Would I be out of line to ask West Point if my district has been appointed yet? I don't want to be a pest, but I am wanting to know. I'm sure that I am not alone.
 
When it comes to admissions, being a pest is ok. It shows that you really care about gainig admission, and is a reflection in part of your being personally energetic, which is a fundamental leadership trait. So yes, ask them. Better yet, I would call your congressman's office, they find out about appointments as quickly as the appointees themselves and should be able to give you a quicker response than admissions. I would contact your Congressman's office first and if you do not get satisfaction, then contact your Liason Officer. As for GA-08, we are still waiting, but the nominations have been delivered to USMA. The GA-08 on the appointment list was a Presidential appointment, which as I understand it, does not count against the Congressman's slate.
