GMC prep students?

My son was recently accepted into the USCGA Scholars program as a self-prep student. I was wondering if there is anyone else on this forum who is going that route? Or any other sponsored prep students going to GMC? We are very excited but I feel like I know very little :)
 
One of my students is likely going to GMC this fall, too. Also, one of my classmates spoke very fondly of GMC. He served as our Cadet Wing Commander during our senior year. I bet your son will find it to be a great experience -- congratulations to your son!
 
You will find numerous helpful comments in the following thread. My cadet had an excellent experience at GMC, really admired the cadre, developed friendships with other preps (and is still close to them at USMA), and felt very well prepared for WP. There were many Coasties in his class and they all did very well at GMC. Good luck!

Civil Prep - Scholarships

DS received an AOG scholarship, his application is complete - CFA pending review/amber. 1 on the 9 scholars at his school received his appointment this week. Any information of what we can expect?
