I hope they find a good local ‘Q caterer for the tailgater!

We debated whether to go, BBQ being a powerful draw. We are staying home, but now I’m thinking we have to have BBQ to eat at home during the game.
 
My football season is over...started and ended Saturday, with GREAT SUCCESS. Anything before that was pre-season, and I really don't care about anything after.

I love to hear what the players think about bowl games .... Liberty Bowl is a pretty good draw (among so many nothing bowls), but two more weeks of practice and losing Christmas leave has got to be hard on the motivation. On the other hand, its good training for the Navy ... counting the days down to the end of deployment, just to get extended ....)

Get a pork butt at your local butcher. Set it in the Crock Pot over night. I forget the length of time .... Just google it.

Meat will fall right off the bone. Stir up your favorite BBQ sauce ... enjoy.

I have several versions of slow cooker pork butt and country ribs for a BBQ-like effect - always a good choice.

Though I’m thinking about breaking out a recipe for pernil, a skin on bone-in pork shoulder roast with lime and copious garlic. One of my Puerto Rican senior chiefs shared his abuela’s recipe with me, and it is a nice direction to take with pork.

I am so looking forward to this game!! K-State is one of the most 'hated' nemesis of DD1's University, so happy to have another opportunity to root hard against them ;)!
