Hey guys,
As some of you may know, I was selected for the 4 Year NROTC Marine Option Scholarship to UNC, but I didn't get in to UNC. I went into an absolute frenzy trying to figure out what to do. I posted my problem here and got some amazing advice via PM from some members. I followed the advice and worked my tail off trying to get this scholarship to work. I requested a transfer to the University of Houston due to some advice they had an open slot. I didn't even apply there yet when I asked to have the scholarship moved. I applied there and finished the application in three hours. Transcrips and everything. I got the e-mail from NROTC today saying that my scholarship was put off the waitlist to the University of Houston and that they would like to know if I wanted to accept it. I told them YES!!! But I didn't know if I got into Houston yet, so I ran into a room safe from teachers (I was in school) and called the admissions office at Houston. I asked them if I got all my stuff in and when I would know. The lady then told me I just got accepted yesterday. So finnaly I will be able to put my scholarship to good use! I owe a lot of it to the tips that were given to me via this forum and to my loved ones who knew I could do it. It has been an extremely crazy couple of weeks and an insane senior year, but I got it!!!! So thank you all once again! And to the people that are still in limbo with getting there scholarships to work, keep faith!!!!
