Govt shutdown and DODMERB / Waivers?

My son is currently trying to work through the DODMERB/Waiver process with AROTC so that he can contract and start his scholarship.

His current status is pending waiver/review.

My question is... will anything move forward or will the DODMERB or ROTC Review team be furloughed while the government is shut down?

Due to the shutdown of the government, all USNA Office of Admissions civilian personnel have been furloughed. The remaining military staff will be on duty, however, candidates and prospective candidates may experience delays in application processing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Candidate Medical Exams and Waivers: Because of the government shutdown, the medical examination and waiver process are delayed or in abeyance.
