GPA Calculation

When USNA looks at a transcript, will they re-weight the classes? I have taken a mix of AP and honors courses but only the AP count on a 5.0 scale. I am aware that some schools give 5.0 for honors courses. So to compare candidates, is the GPA recalculated or does Admissions mainly look at the student's ranking in the class?
