Grad. cruise

Has anyone out there gone on the USMMA grad. cruise? The entire family is going and I have no clue what to wear. DS is no help..LOL Suit and tie for men or is it more casual. After 5 dress for me, or is it slacks and sandals? TIA

cruise attire

Last year it was everything from very casual pants, sundresses to dressier stuff. I don't remember seeing shorts, but everything else was there.

I wore sports jacket with my VFW pin at my son's commissioning from MMA on Old Ironsides. Wore the same thing for graduation. Casual is OK but I wouldn't wear shorts and sandals. Normal summer wear for women and men at a usual cocktail party. Texmom has it right.

I imagine this thread now applies to the new crop of soon to be grads, the 15s. That's us? Wow. Do tell about this grad cruise thing? When do the invitations or instructions for this come out?
