Graduating in May vs December

With all summer training cancelled DS is considering taking online summer classes instead. This means he would graduate “on time” in May of next year instead of December as originally planned. However he is not sure if he would be allowed to do that, primarily because it would change his mission set and he has not taken the TAB yet. Any thoughts? It would save the army a semester of tuition so any chance they would pay for summer classes. (He would probably do this regardless of if they would pay the summer tuition). He has reached out to his Cadre too but figured it didn’t hurt to ask here too. Thanks!
 
If AROTC- has he talked to the ROO and or PMS? They will help more than random people on internet. Because if his PMS says no, no matter what I say will cause that to get to a yes.

He has been in touch with 3 people from the cadre. Waiting to hear back on some questions
 
Apparently they are working to try to get approval for him. They originally made it seem like he was all set.
