I believe the reason it was pushed to June 1 is the guest speaker. President Biden is the speaker and Memorial Day pushes it to Thursday June 1. We will wait till June 1, 2022 to make our hotel reservation for 2023. Hotels won't be availabe until 364 days out.

Hope corona will allow for graduation this year and next year. Our DD is class of 2023 and really excited to see her graduate. She is working Basic this year and gearing up for it.

My son worked basic last year, he has an internship in DC this summer and I'm happy to have him closer to home. I am looking for a home to rent as we will have family from the E. Coast heading out. I didn't realize Biden was the speaker (we've met him in our little state of Delaware)

She is working 2nd Beast...We are awaiting the other summer slots and when we will have off/working.

DD had an internship with our congressman freshman year and loved it. She worked in the local office, which is different than working in DC. DC is far more intense and different than the local office. I am sure your DS will learn and gain some valuable experience.
