I think that the PRT package contains a release for local media which (I think) is binding for all four years . DD refused to sign. She did get a flag which flew over the White House on the day of her graduation from USNA from the Senators office. They never cooperate and and six years down the road they still dont.

I don't understand your question. What exactly are you asking?

    PRT Package ?

I am looking for information on how to order the graduation invitation cards that you put in the mail to family, friends, associates.

But my husband will want to do the Media Release.

Sorry. PTR package has a media release form on which you list the media outlets you want notified? I think you can find different boilerplate announcements you can send to all local media if you search the Academy sites. Graduation cards are on your own. You are allowed a defined number of tickets to the graduation ceremony (can't remember how many per mid) but it was more than enough (like eight for ours). Good luck and have fun at Graduation.

I think h.s. graduation is being confused with USNA commissioning. PTR is something you complete BEFORE you ever start USNA.

If this is a question about USNA graduation next May you can check "Signature Announcements" or "Greeting Card Universe" along with many others. I think that if you list the media outlets on the PTR they get automatic notification all four years for any time the USNA thinks your Mid makes some news?

Commissioning week does come faster than you think and the four years can be a blur. It has been five years but I remember it as yesterday. It was hot. Tell your Mid to meet you by the white tents in the north end of the stadium after the ceremony otherwise you will be wandering around trying to find each other down on the field. Get some good pictures putting on their new boards or pinning those gold LT bars. Good Luck and have a wonderful day. Traffic getting out is a nightmare so no reason to rush although we did get some great pictures with Ricky Dobbs in his new ensign uniform while in the traffic line. We went to Baltimore for dinner at Fogo de Chao? after the ceremony. Anywhere around DTA will be packed and very expensive.

All good advise. We are a pretty big Clan, may just go back to rental house and cook, I am such a tightwad.

If you have a rental it is probably the best place to be after a long day in the hot sun. Let the men cook and relax with the now Ensign/Lt. Not a tightwad just practical.
