My grey cards just popped up on my portal. Just wanted to let you all know as other appointed candidiates may want to check their portals.

What do we fill in for "point of contact" under the travel information gray card? Our own name? Our parents'? And if we will not be traveling to WP via plane for R-Day, do we still have to list the airport and city closest to us?

I had the same question as above. For the point of contact you want to put your parents names/information. I am not sure about the travel information although I would really like to know since I plan on driving to R-day. Hopefully someone enlightens us soon.

I just filled in my parents name and my home phone number, and then left the line blank where it asks for the airport and city closest to your residence (since I'll be driving to Rday.
I actually have a question about another Gray Card, the one labeled "Point of Contact." What is the purpose of this Gray Card, and based on what the purpose of it is, who do we put as our points of contacts (there are a bunch of options, all the way from Father to Senator)? And what does the part at the bottom mean when it says "Mail To," "Send Grades" and "Remarks?" All of this is very unclear to me.

I believe this is where information about you will be sent to including your grades while your at school.

This is from the Instructions for Candidates Offered Admission file, page 17.

12. POINTS OF CONTACT – Web Response (Candidate Portal)
Add the primary points of contact that should be used in cases of emergencies that may arise while
you are at West Point. This information will be kept confidential and only used when absolutely
necessary.

hope that answers your question.
