Received conditional appointment in December, still no word on a waiver. Getting worried, and will need to commit to another college soon. Anybody have any information?

Are you being recruited to play baseball? If so, I suggest talking with the coach about your concern, specifically about the waiver timeline and declining other offers. While they do not have the authority for waivers, they probably can talk to the appropriate authority to get your medical reviewed and get you an answer one way or another. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I would get in contact with Mr. Mullen from the DoDMERB threads. He helps sort through stalls when it comes to the process, and can likely point you towards answers regarding what might be causing the wait.

Most schools regular decisions notifications don’t come out until late March and pretty much all schools give until May 1st to notify them to commit. Yes, you should always have a plan B but you appear to have a month and a half before the commit date so unless you have an earlier deadline for some reason , stay patient.
