Has anyone heard from Senators Lautenberg or Menendez in NJ

I havnt either but another applicant on here did, he heard about his nomination for AFA, i'm waiting to hear about a nom to USNA. you guys in the same boat?

Did he even call USNA ppl. I wonder if their office did USMA on sat. AFA on Monday, MMA on tuesday, and NA later today? maybe? can i hope?

Devil i hope you are correct. I know that NJ is one of the most competitive states for a Senatorial nom so it IS possible that we simply just did not receive noms from the senators. Although i hope this is not the case, it is possibility. Lets stay positive and try to remember that if we are appointed, the wait will be much much worth it!

I got a nom from menendez to usafa. No word from lautenburg, idk how I got it, I'm just an average candidate. It must have been my interview I did very well

well however you got it, congrats. That means there's still hope for me! The panel from the Menendez interview were impressed with some of my accomplishments, maybe theres still a chance ill get one!

Any word from the NJ Senators

Has anyone heard anything regarding nominations from Menendez or Lautenberg for USNA? My son's friend got a phone call last Monday telling him he got Senator Menendez's nomination to USAFA and today he found out he got an appointment.

The waiting is so nerve wracking.

I got a nom from Menedez to USAFA. I got a call from a staff member on Monday as well.

It seems that Menendez's office notified USAFA candidates. I am assuming nothing yet for USNA from either him or Lautenberg. How about the other academies; any word yet? I know USNA nominations had to be at Annapolis by yesterday.

I just called Senator Menendez's office. The first question the guy asked me was if i got a phone call. He then told me that i did not receive a nomination from the senator. Guess if you didnt get a phone call you didnt get a nom. Good thing i have one from my MOC!!

Apparently I recieved a third nomination from Sen. Lautenburg..... On the website it just shows Menedez and Lautenburg. I have confirmation from just Lobiondo and Menedez though... weird
