NOTE: I'm only a Junior and thus have not started the DoDMERB process yet. This is merely a question to preempt/prepare for a possible DQ.

I noticed that "recurrent headaches interfering with normal function or requiring prescription meds" is eligible for a DQ.

About a month ago I had ~3 headaches a week for 3 weeks and my mom got worried and took me to a doctor. These headaches didn't interfere with function, I never went to the nurse, I just waited them out (they lasted 15-30 minutes). The doctor then prescribed me 2 medications, and I haven't taken either of them because I didn't feel that my headaches were that severe. However, on my records it will say I was prescribed medicine.

1) Is there a way to make it apparent that I didn't use the meds on my record?

2) Can I just say "No" on the DoDMERB sheet since they didn't REQUIRE meds? (Because I never used them) It seems like this would be the simplest route but if they accuse me of lying I don't want to be blacklisted or thrown in jail or something.

3) If I send in a personal statement saying this will I be more likely to get a waiver if/when the time comes?

Thanks
