I have spent way too much time lurking this month so thought I should sign up.
3 of my sons have gone enlisted--different branches. In June ADAF brother recommended our DS apply for USAFA so he's late to join the process. DS is home schooled with 8 dual credit college classes, 3.7 GPA, 4.0 for college, 1420 SAT, strong in STEM .Excellent CFA, 2 year captain of 6 man football team--2 years championship wins, 4 years track, helping coach the JH team currently. MOC nomination.
He's the 6 of our 10 kids and we live in a small town so I think he's made the most of his opportunities. So we're nervously waiting with the rest of you.

Thank you! We are still stressfully waiting. My husband was the second in his family to serve,(first died a month after D-Day). He comes from centuries of religious pacifists. I grew up in an extremely liberal area so I have grown into my pride in our military.
