Hi,

I'm new to the forums. I live in the UK and am very interested in joining the USAF and want to go for aircrew (I am a dual US/British citizen). I posted a thread on the ROTC section asking about scholarships and had a reply saying the AFA has a sister counterpart here in the UK.

Is this true and does anyone have any information about it?
Many thanks.

Britian has the Royal Air Force College at RAF Cranwell. That would get you into the RAF, though, not the USAF.

Each year, Britian sends one or two officer candidates to USAFA for an exchange program, but that would also put you into the RAF when you returned.

If your heart is truly set on USAFA and the USAF, then you would need to follow the steps that were laid out in the ROTC thread about renouncing your British citizenship.
