Hi all,

I'm Katie and trying to decide if the Navy is right for me (props for those who guessed it from my username :wink:)...
I'm American and Austrian, currently living in Austria. I will graduate high school in June 09 with a Bilingual (hopefully) International Diploma from an international school.
I'm pretty much here to learn about Annapolis, other Academies, and how to tell my parents I want to go to an Academy and that no, I am not planning to get shot in some desert somewhere (<-- serious! if anyone can help me out with that... :thumb: :biggrin:)

You said you will be graduating high school in June 2009, since you are just now seeking information about the academy I assume you are not applying for class of 2013. What are your plans for after you graduate? Will you be attending college and applying for class of 2014?

Yep, I'll go to university here, shop around for what I want to study, spend extra time working out, earn some money and so on. But yes, I'm hopefully applying for the Class of 2014! I'd so love to go to the Naval Academy!!!!
I just hope I get to keep my dual citizenship :idea:
