High School Transcripts

I'm currently applying to the Naval Academy and all of the nomination sources. They all require an official high school transcript however my school will only send transcripts directly to them. The problem is that both of the Texas Senators have online portals where it says to upload a transcript however I can't do this without the transcript becoming unofficial. I'm guessing I should just mail it to their offices but I'm not exactly sure. Could someone with experience with this shed some light on what I should do?

This is a great opportunity to take the initiative and problem-solve on your own. Think about what you’re going to say, plan on how to introduce yourself, pick up a phone and use voice technology to have a professional, courteous, appreciative, live conversation with a staffer who handles the nomination packages. It’s an opportunity to make a positive impression and avoid the dangers of guessing.

Depending what my MOC and senators requested (some were hard copy; some uploaded), I asked my school to put my transcripts on a USB so I have them handy.

Yep that's definitely what I'm going to do, I'll call tomorrow during their office hours.
