History-> Jag?

If we are another major aside from Law/Legal Studies, can we still get a JAG slot? I know General Letendre was an Astro major and got one, but unsure if it changed. If anyone can let me know it’d be much appreciated

Most FLEP Programs don't care what your major was undergrad, however a LAW, Pre-Law, Political Science major seems to help with the LSAT's. Most FLEP's work in that you apply on AD or AD Reserves, and your command and HQ JAG review and select. You will likely need to have passed the LSAT and have been accepted at a Law School, sometimes preferably in your state of residence (for in state tuition). Also, you usually need to be an O-2 or O-3 with the requisite leadership and duty assignments for promotion.
