Please join our family in a moment of prayer of health, safety and love for those wonderful men and women who are serving our Country. They have chosen to protect our Country and devote their holiday to a duty to freedom here and in far away lands.

If your father, son, brother, sister, or friend is able to be with you to celebrate the holiday, please give them an extra hug and a sincere "Thank you!" from all of us. Their sacrifices do not go unnoticed and are appreciated.

Best wishes for a safe, happy holiday season to all!

Thanks for the post. Both my dad and brother are serving and won't be home this X-Mas. Looking forward to May 2010 when my dad returns and Oct 2010 when my brother gets home! Until then, keep them and all the other men and women in your prayers!

Grannies Post Holiday Thoughts

Great Post. I am surprised everyone is not responding to this post and sending well wishes, our thanks and prayers to the men and women servicng and protecting our freedom. Again to all the men and women serving, thank you and be safe.

Those of us, both military and civilian, who are serving overseas especially in violent places like Iraq and Afghanistan appreciate the fact that folks back home are thinking of us and asking God to keep us safe. The fact that I am alive today is proof that prayer works. Please don't stop until we all come home.

Prayers go out to those serving overseas! I think its awful that some people are unable to enjoy the holidays with their families

Yes, but thank God for Skype! I got to talk to my dad yesterday (X-Mas day). he's is Mozul, Iraq and he looked tired but happy! He asked me about USMA and I still don't have any news to share with him. My application is still "in process" according to DodMERB website. Maybe when he redeploys in May 2010 for my graduation, I'll have some exciting news for him! My brother called yesterday from Afghanistan and he's doing well. He sends his thanks for the many care packages that were sent to the troops over the holidays! Continue to support our troops!
