Hello all once again, I’m a candidate for the class of 26. As of now I’ve heard of tons of appointments going out. There’s 2 days left until the deadline. Just wondering, is there any hope left for an appointment? Mainly USAFAPS, but is there still hope to get that letter of greatness? Or am I hyping myself up too much? I’ve already received my denial from USNA and every since that I’ve been pretty discouraged.

The deadline of the 15th is the deadline for people appointed prior to the 15th to accept their appointment. Everyone appointed after the 15th has a week to accept. We will all supposedly know if we got in or not by the 21st.

There IS still hope. My DD just got a call from our MOC. She's in! Hang in there!
 
So, let's look at some history and set realistic expectations. First the history: people have received appointments up to a few days prior to I-day. So, all hope is not lost. "So, you're saying there's a chance!" Second, let's set realistic expectations. Most appointments have been/are being sent (April is the big month, historically, iirc). If you haven't heard anything by the next couple weeks, your odds of getting an appointment are low. Don't abandon all hope, but start seriously deciding on which back-up plan to select.
