Hello,
I am a junior in high school and would like to attend either the Air Force or Naval Academy for college. I would like input from anyone who has experience and can help with guidance. Here is what I can say about myself:
•4.2 gpa
• Classes include through duration of highschool: 9 AP courses, 6 Hnrs courses, and a required career pathway of biomedical science that the school is most proud of.
•Varsity lacrosse and football all 4 years and lettered all of them
•coaches basically guaranteed I would be captain for both sports next year
•200 volunteer hours in local hospital emergency room
•various clubs. Such as: key club (volunteer service), junior class council (treasurer), student government, fellowship of christian athletes (huddle leader), best buddies, safety club, and will be given a leadership role in the academic club.
• I am apart of the civil air patrol
• National Honors society
• 3X Relay for Life
• My father graduated from the Air Force Academy and spent 20 years in it, allowing me a presidential nomination.
My only downfall are my SATs. My total sat is a 1600. I don't know if I can get that any higher or not. I will be taking the new redesigned one and will also take the ACTs in April.
Any advice is well appreciated. Thanks
