I'm curently a hs sophmore and want to apply to USNA. I checked the academy website and see that basic requirements included being a US citizen with some footnotes underneath.
I was born in Taiwan but came to the US since I was one (I'm 15); my parents are applying for citizenship- we are currently permanent residents.
If one of my parents earn US citizenship before I turn 18, does that automatically allow me to become a US citizen?
How do I match up for admission based on these stats?
attend an IB/MYP school
4.7 gpa(weighted)
currently in AF rotc as an officer(went to leadership school)
Life scout(should earn Eagle within the next year); i have served as SPL, ASPL, OA Chapter chief, and PL
on my school's academic/quiz bowl team (7 year undefeated)
will take ACT soon
scored 111 on PSAT (taking into account that i did better on math in 8th grade-disappointing as i had some answer transfer issues)
What do u people whom have graduated from the academy think?
