How does the portal change with appointment notification?

Like all of you- checking the portal frequently- Has anyone taken a screen shot of what the portal looks like when your are offered an appointment or declined?

From what I've gathered, you won't miss it if you get one, so don't worry about that.

Also, somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the first wave is coming out this week.

That's what I'd assume... but do you have any certain sources?

No. That's just what I've gathered from the forum. Typically, the first wave comes out Mid-January, but I've seen several people say it would be later in January this year. I'm not sure why, but if someone does please chime in!

Seriously. In 2015 it was Super Bowl Sunday. Last year it was 22 January.

USMA had a live q&a on facebook last week. One of the admission officers said offers would start going out at the end of January.

Just found the answer I was looking for - the change to the portal is under the Home tab and under "Official Correspondence".

I can validate this based on direct contact with the Director of Admissions. My DS and I went to an all Academy briefing Friday night and met with Colonel McDonald. She said she has already reviewed all of the prep scholar re-applicants and will be sending out notifications at the end of January. I believe this would be the start of the bigger groups of offers for admission.
