After filling out the online application, how long does it typically take for the Candidate Kit Instructions to arrive?

I mean the forms that the CFA Administrator fills out and instructions for the DODMERB.

That will be online where all the forms are that you will need. I'm not sure if this helps, but if you have a more specific question, just let me know.

JLimmy: If you haven't received anything from DoDMERB yet CONTACT THEM NOW! You have less than 30 days to get it in, I would contact them now and set up an appointment for a physical.

Also, for the CFA... The form is online. If your ALO is going to give you the test they should be able to do that no problem. You print the form that is on the application for the CFA then enter those scores into your app after you take the test...

Where exactly do I find these forms that everyone keeps telling me about? Whenever I log on I only see the information I entered and my status as an "Applicant" and "Competitive". Thanks.

Hi JLimmy,

If you will look through the link the Luigi provided for you, it contains the instructions for completing your CFA and instructions for who can administer it as well as instructions for the person administering it. The actual form that you submit is online. There is also information about Dodmerb, etc. in that link.

Once your status changes to "Candidate" all of this information will be online for you to access--on the same page that you are now seeing as "applicant" or "competitive". If you just recently completed the pre-candidate application, it may take a few days for them to evaluate you and for you to be an official candidate.

Thanks Benson, I guess thats why i don't see these forms yet. As for the DODMERB, is it fine for me to schedule an appointment even though I'm not an official candidate yet since I'm at least competitive?

You cannot schedule your DODMERB physical until the academy submits your name into the system.

Usually, this happens when you get to a certain point in the application (halfway through?)

Once they submit your name to Concorde (the DODMERB contractor), they will send you a post card requesting you schedule a physical examination.

Thanks. I just want to get everything done as soon as possible but I guess I'll just have to wait until admissions deems me competitive. I'm just anxious since I have so little time and at the moment really can't do much to speed things up.
