How long to wait for appointment??

For the people who have received an appointment, can I know around when you turned in your applications? I know it is different for everyone, but I want to see if there is a general pattern.
 
I turned in the candidate kit (not checklist items) 10 Aug. My ALO interview was submitted 3 Oct, CFA submitted 18 Oct. I got a congressional nomination 30 Nov, then a DoDMERB conditional appointment on 13 Dec. I hope this helps!
 
My son submitted his candidate kit in August 2020. His ALO interview was the end of August 2020. He completed his CFA June 2020. He received a congressional nomination in November 2020. He heard NOTHING until the morning of March 17, 2021 (St. Patrick's Day)! He received an email to check his portal. There was a large number of appointments that had gone out overnight.

He is now a C3C, Class of 2025.
 
DS submitted kit in Aug, DoDermb in Sept along with ALO interview, and CFA etc. Been waiting on word in MS for nominations. He just received FOUR noms after Christmas.Everything is complete on portal now. Not expecting to hear anything till March at least. Hard to wait and following up with his college back up plan for sure. Best of luck to all
 
My DS submitted his completed application in late October, had his ALO interview in early December, received his nomination in December and DoDMERB cleared near end of January. He received his appointment on January 28. We were expecting to hear in March as it seems that is when most appointments go out. Best of luck to you!

It depends on a lot of factors. My 2025 found out within 6 weeks of turning everything in February. Our 2026 didn't find out until April and our hopeful 2027-er is still waiting even though everything has been completed and we are being told the hold up is due to DoDMERB info getting sent to academy. In summary. Different. Every. Time.

I'm a current 3 deg but I think the admissions stay pretty consistent every year. I finished my application in July 2020 and had my interview in Aug 2020 with nomination received in Dec 2020. However I had to wait until May 20, 2021 to get appointed (which was about a month before I-Day). Some of my friends were appointed as early as January 2021 though so it varies a ton depending on the individual.
