How to apply to SLE from candidate portal?

Hello, I started an application for USMA and I cannot find any option to apply for SLE. There was no option on the confirmation page to indicate applying to SLE. Is there any way to apply from the portal?
 
Your candidate questionnaire serves as your application to SLE. Since you have submitted that you are all good.

I read somewhere that I need to click the button to complete a separate form about workshop preference and the like. There's also the air force and naval seminars which all have separate forms with essays. Is west point just different in how they do SLE applications?

Also, if CQ is the only requirement to apply for SLE, does that mean all applicants starting applications between February 1 and March 14th are automatically SLE candidates as well? Thank you.

I need this question answered as well. My son is in the same boat as you. Questionnaire done, but no option to apply for sle.

In the online admissions briefing last night I think I remember someone saying acceptance to SLE is primarily based upon self reported grades/test scores and geographic location. Nothing about essays. I think all of that happens when the full application is opened later.
 
Every academy does things differently, across the board. From USMA site:
Sign up for SLE to see if you're ready for the challenge.

To be considered to attend the Summer Leaders Experience, students are required to complete our application screening tool, the Candidate Questionnaire; please keep in mind that completing the Candidate Questionnaire is not an obligation to attend West Point, but it will keep the option open during your college search.


Sounds to me like the Candidate Questionnaire is the only thing needed to apply for consideration for SLE.
 
We just did the candidate questionnaire(me and DS). There was a gray button to push that indicated interest in SLE. That brought up a screen that said he would receive an invitation email in the next 24 to 48 hours with login information to the SLE site.
Anyone else get this?

Ugh, I wish we did. No grey button to push for us.

Yes, my ds got this.
 
He filled it out early this morning and it didn't have a grey button. In fact I just realized that he still had is confirmation page open on one of the tabs. I checked, and there was no grey button.
