How to know when 3Q’ed

How do you find out that you are 3Q’ed. Is it on the portal or in the mail.

Someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s my understanding that USAFA doesn’t actually let you know if you are 3Q’d like the other SAs

From my understanding, if your portal looks like:

Your Status: ​ Candidate* Your Application is: ​ Complete

you're 3Q'd. I might be wrong about that, but if you have a nom and you're a "Candidate" that means good things.
