I have been on the forum for several months......great info. My son received the official appointment package to USNA Feb 13, so I guess it is time to introduce myself as I plan to be here for the coming four years. We are in west Texas. How a boy from the dry Texas prairies settled on USNA several years ago is something of a mystery!

Wasn't Chester Nimitz from Fredericksburg, TX? Seems like a good area to me!
