I've spent the morning reviewing the requirements for the CG Academy and AF Academy admissions, and my son looked at the CGA requirements over break. He is a junior in HS and is interested in the CGA and the AFA. He's completed one 6 week intensive course (equal to one year) of American Sign Language and is starting his 2nd year this month. I did not see anything about high school foreign language requirements as a qualifying factor for the application/admission requirements for the CGA, but discovered he wouldn't be eligible to apply for the AFA unless he took a listed foreign language (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish) his senior year. Could you clarify CGA requirements, if there are any specific to this? Thank you for your time.
