Hi, I'm an 11th grader from Pennsylvania who's going for the Naval Academy.
As far as academics go, they're not breathtaking but still pretty solid. 4.09 WT / 3.96 UWT GPA, 1470 SAT (740 EBRW/730 Math), 16th percentile in my HS class. Decent academic honors: Math League top scorer for the last two years (intramural), just got Student of the Month, French NHS inductee (not regular NHS until next year though, didn't have enough service hours till recently). Taking AP classes in math/science especially, getting As; will have taken AP chem, physics, calc ab & calc bc, lang/comp, world history, and computer science A by graduation.
Sports: One year of swim (will be two), lettered in varsity, zero chance of being captain. I do band year round which makes any more sports pretty tough.
ECAs: again, not breathtaking but pretty solid. Going into my fifth year of HS marching band (second year as section leader / leadership team member), and second year of indoor drumline (second year as section leader, the indoor drumline is nationally competitive, audition only, etc.) I volunteer as a lab assistant after school for my old chem teacher because it's relevant in regard to my tentative major (chemistry). Additionally, I volunteer and help out the middle school band kids on percussion once a week (seasonal, only Mar-May).
Application: did my preliminary applications for USNA & USMA, got my noncommital letter and an unsolicited SLE invite from USMA. Got accepted to NASS, visiting USNA in two weeks (via CVW). My congressional district is pretty densely populated, but from what I've read, the national pool makes that less of a concern, correct?
Getting my strength up for the CFA, and keeping grades up are my main concerns right now. I'll retake SAT & ACT next fall, but it's a bit far off to be worrying about that yet. Any advice on strengthening sports/ECAs would be appreciated, thanks for reading!

Good luck. Your GPA and SAT are very solid. Leadership is lacking a bit. Have you contacted your Blue and Gold officer yet? I'd strongly recommend Boys State if it's not too late. In terms of your congressional district all are about the same in population. You have some excellent schools in yours, so competition is tough everywhere and maybe a little more in your district. What is your ultimate goal? If it's to become a Naval officer I'd consider USMMA as well. An do whatever summer program you can, it's a tiny taste of life at an academy to see if you like it.
