I am a senior, and I am applying to KP. I just got my LOA after a week of waiting since the portal update to "conditional." My conditions are a medical waiver, and continued academic excellence. I have until April 16th to get a waiver. I dislocated my shoulder in the fall during football. I'm wondering what my chances are of getting in, if I need to do anything about "academic excellence", and if there was anything to do about the waiver? Also, why is the academy portal down?? Any help would be amazing,

It is advised for users not to use their actual names as part of their user names since CADRE may track your online activities and give you a hard time during the summer training. Also, don't create a face book group for appointees and try to meet up at I-day wearing same colored shirts or some form of recognition.
 
When you google Service Academy Forums you will see one is DodMerb. That is where your best source of information is. People used to be able to directly email Larry Mullen who was tireless in his willingness to help candidates. Good Luck!
 
It probably wouldn't hurt to call admissions and ask them if they have any recommendations

Is the best source of information regarding waivers. Also see the DODMERB discussion section on the homepage of this forum. It has good information on this topic.
 
You can go to FAQ and user profile features; public profile; user control panel; edit your profile. Alternatively, (and perhaps easier) you can just create an entirely new account for yourself with a new user name.

Again, good luck and glad that someone provided Mr. Mullen's email address to you. He is amazing!
