I-Day

From what I heard from the Superintendant, we won’t need a ROM if more than 80% (or 85%) of us show up fully vaccinated. I don’t remember the exact number. I’m hoping everyone takes one for the team so we can start normally.
Fully vaccinated + 3 weeks for max immunity. Ten day ROM covers the mavericks that do not fall into the correct percentages. Extra bodies on the yard = extra variables.

When DS came home from school today he told me about the COVID vaccine email. USNA is doing a survey to see how many incoming Plebes for Class of 2025 will be vaccinated prior to I-Day so they can hopefully not have ROM and hit the yard running if they meet the required target by then...:)

DS is fully vaccinated...

DS is fully CV19 vaccinated (two weeks out from 2nd P/B vaccine), and is all up to date on other vaccines except his Meningococcal G-B six months from now.

It would be fantastic if they could get to the grind right off the start.

DS is also fully vaccinated - two weeks out as of today. It would be awesome if enough were vaccinated that they could just jump right into it.
