i was just notified tonight that i was awarded a 4-yr Naval ROTC scholarship!

i want to thank all of you who helped me and gave me guidance. my first post on this forum was about VMI and the NROTC 4-yr scholarship:

and now i both have the scholarship and also have been admitted to VMI- i feel so happy i don't know if i should cry or laugh. :smile:

Fantastic- Congratulations!!! Whether we know it or not we will see you this summer.
BTW - Parents weekend is October 10-12 and the hotels in Lexington are already booked up - still a few B&B rooms available- so have your parents jump on them quickly!

you may turn out to be right! today, my NROTC scholarship page says:
Congratulations!
You have been selected for a 4-yr Navy Option scholarship.
You are assigned to the NROTC Unit at Virginia Military Institute.
Your assigned unit also includes the following crosstowns:
* Mary Baldwin College
