Hello SA Forum!
I have been lurking since discovering the forum while googling a specific question (which now escapes me) this past summer.
I found myself fascinated with the stories, knowledge, stress, patriotism and desire to share...well, that and bacon.
I find myself engrossed reading threads that do not and will not have anything to do with my reason for finding the forum in the first place- my DS' desire to serve. I am moved and extremely proud of all of your children as well as the current Cadets, Mids, and ROTC kids sharing their experiences. Special thank you to all of the Active Duty and Retired service members whose knowledge and experience add balance to forum.
Down to business-My DS is:
EA, USCGA hopeful, DoDMERB Q'd simply waiting for determination by 12/23
AROTC First Board Ready which makes him under review this week
Good luck to all the applicants and whatever the decision may be- there are no losers, just not enough room for all the winners.
