I thought it was about time I said hi!

Hello,

I just wanted to say hi since I have been glued to this forum for the past few months. My DS is hoping to get an appointment to either the USNA or USMA. He has had his applications completed since early September so he has been taking one step at a time. I think he has been dealing with all the waiting a lot been than I have!

He was thrilled to find out that he received nominations to both the USNA and USMA from his Congressman last week. My DS is tripled qualified but does not have an LOA or LOE but did receive a CVW to USNA back in September, which he attended and loved. He is now getting ready for interviews with both Senators next week. I'm sure there are many in the same boat as my DS so good luck to all!

By the way, this forum has been so helpful these past few months. This is all new to me and I don't know what I would have done without it. I am much more educated about the entire process because of it so thank you!

Thanks for the encouragement! Pretty sweet that this is a place we can cheer one another on, an maybe meet the parents of our kid's future classmates before Parent's Weekend. I'm new to the whole thing, still not sure what all the abbreviations stand for, but looking forward to learn from you all.
