I have recently learned that my IEP will be a problem with the CGA. I just finished the first AIM session and have started the CGA application process. From what I understand, dodmber will have me tell them that I have an IEP and why I have it, which will ultimately fail me right? I have done some research and noticed the best way to solve this problem would have been to close my IEP at the start of my JR year of HS. Unfortunately, I don't have a time machine.
Is all hope lost?
I don't know how to say this other than saying it straightforward. At a young age, I had trouble reading and spelling which might have been slightly dyslexia however I have never received an official diagnosis and do not take medication. After maturing and gaining a work ethic, I have not used my IEP really for anything except standardized test scores which I plan to take this upcoming August SAT without accommodations to submit to the CGA. Would closing my IEP now help at all if I plan on applying for early admissions October 15th.
Any information is appreciated. Thanks
