Does anyone know what's going to happen with the immunization requirements?

I need my polio and tdap booster shots for USAFA, but I can't get those shots due to the covid-19 pandemic going on right now.
I plan on contacting my ALO and other resources for information, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about this situation.

There are a few threads going right now about this. Look in the DoDMERB section of the site.

Call your primary dr. and ask. I explained my DS situation and the requirements and they were more than happy to schedule him to come in just for the shots. They aren't doing well visits, but this falls outside that category.

We are going to be able to go to our County Health Department. We just need to make an appointment.

It’s solvable. Read here:

We went to our local Walgreens/CVS on March 26th and got my daughters shots she needed. she had to update her polio and Tdap. I called before we went over to make sure they had them. The pharmacist administered them. I took the print out of the scripts and letter from USAFA with us and we didn’t have any problem. they were happy to do it.

We were able to make an appointment with our local Peds office and explained the situation. You could also check with your local Health Department. Most Dr offices by us are taking appointments and modifying the check in process to minimize the risk. Good luck!

Be creative. Call everyone you can think of. Even your old pediatrician. Explain the situation. And Come prepared with the prescription forms that your son or daughter can print off their portal, and it doesn’t hurt to photocopy pages from the appointee booklet and bring those in as well.

+1 @dnwelly - My non-SA DS was able to get a (same day) Tdap shot at a CVS last week. I've known them to have an influenza vaccine long after my kids' pediatrician were out of stock, so definitely give them a try.
