It was probably because I got surgery for my broken nose a few years ago. Thank you!The issue you may be having is that when DoDMets (Concorde) reviewed your medical, they have 2 people review the record independently prior to sending it on to DoDMerb. One of those two people determined that the doctor who examined you probably failed to notate something on the form....for instance if you stated you had a past surgery, they may have failed to document that there are no signs or injury and that you are completely healed. Thus, your file is place in a complete hold status. After a few days, DodMets (Concorde) will reach out to the medical provider (Concentra) to rectify the issue. More than likely, Concentra did not provide the update and your file was then placed in an incomplete closed status. Once in this status, your file will be sent electronically to the DoDMerb for them to review. I will caution that you will more than likely be placed in a "Remedial Requested" status by DoDMerb until this missing information is provided. When you login to the DODMerb site, you most likely see this remedial status with NO Codes. If you email the DodMerb helpdesk, they will respond with the code or any additional AMI required. It's very frustrating because you have done everything correctly and one missed piece of documentation slows the entire process and places the burden back on the candidate to supply. Good Luck
Rodaboat, please do not assume. If your file is in Remedial Requested with NO Codes, then I would suggest you call DodMerb and ask what the issue is. You only want to provide the information they are requesting. You don't want to assume what they want and send information that throws a different red flag up.
So my status now is remedial requested and got the code R251.00 because the doctor forgot to notate something. On the letter it says required administrative AMI. Would I have to contact concorde for this? The issue you may be having is that when DoDMets (Concorde) reviewed your medical, they have 2 people review the record independently prior to sending it on to DoDMerb.
