I was listening to a parent's meeting VTC the other day when this topic came up. Sounds like testing on day 1 and day 14, with other monitoring in-between. One parent specifically asked what would happen if someone tested positive. I thought I understood the representative to say that the appointee would continue to be quarantined until they were clear. I could not find this guidance anywhere on the USAFA web site when I googled it, but a link to the USNA site said this:
"3. If my son/daughter is determined to be positive for COVID-19 upon arrival, will he/she be allowed to join the incoming class?
Our intention is to provide medical treatment for any incoming plebe who tests positive for COVID-19 and allow them to continue training once cleared by medical personnel."
Has USAFA put out any updates addressing this? I know there were a lot of rumors and even the military times article that have added confusion. With cases on the rise again these are nervous times. Thanks for any info.
