Intelligence Officer Questions

The job I'm going to after Intel school is a flying position. So I'll be a member of an aircrew.

Nick, congrats! I just think that's the coolest place to be for an intel job! It's the closest you can get to flying w/o being a pilot

Just curious... Will you most likely be in a large/heavy plane?

Just as an FYI for anyone reading this thread, Project Go is also available to Army ROTC cadets.

You can branch Military Intelligence straight out of college as an AROTC cadet, though most are branch detailed into a MFE branch.

Would this be something an incoming cadet could do pre-freshman year? Starting international studies, and this sounds like an enriching opportunity.

Most likely not, but I'm really not that familiar with Project Go to give you a solid answer. I wouldn't count on it.

In addition to things like PG, CULP, CTLT, ROTC has many opportunities for internships in different career fields for cadets. I've seen ads for Intelligence Internships in DC, Nurse internships and multiple others. These are things you can do during the summer as a cadet. I can dig up more info on certain ones if you would like.

Thanks! That would be great. I'll talk to my ROO as well. I think we meet next week.
