Intersession

I've read that there are three "intersessions" adjacent each semester. What goes on during these? There's no class, but they're not on leave, yes? Any clarification is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Lots of administrative stuff. Buying textbooks and supplies for upcoming classes. Getting their rooms squared away. Inspections of said rooms. Visits to Uniform shop and barber shop if necessary. Company briefings with incoming leadership to set forth expectations for upcoming semester. Surprisingly little free time.

As stated above lots of training briefings, meeting with leadership, getting things wrapped up from the previous semester, getting ready for the next semester/summer training, uniform prep, storing things/moving before the summer, purchasing books or selling them back, getting classes squared away. There is some down time, but usually not a ton. Alot of busy stuff, but it has to get done. Moving and getting your rooms squared away takes a day or two.
