DS had his ARTOC interview in early November. Everything else has been submitted for the 2nd board, but the interview still says "pending." DS is wondering if he needs to contact the detachment about it, or if it is just a common thing that will get resolved. I think he wants to be proactive and yet not annoying...

It is time for a respectful phone call or email asking if the interview has been submitted since his portal is showing that it is "pending". Did your DS do his interview at the school he plans to attend or was it done at a detachment not affiliated with his school choice? If the the interview was done at the #1 school, the ROO might be able to help.

On the school's AROTC website, the ROO should be identified with his or her contact information. I would recommend you start with that person to help you track this down. They will have an interest in helping you get this done.
