Hi everyone. My name is Connor and I am currently a senior in Ohio. It has been my lifelong dream to attend the US Merchant Marine Academy and I am currently going through the whole process to potentially fulfill my goal. I have a 4.19 GPA (all honors classes) and I am top 10 in my class. I work as a counselor at a local sail camp and mow lawns on the weekend in my neighborhood. I participate in Varsity Tennis (Team Captain), Sailing, Offshore Sailing, National Honors Society, Volunteer Usher at Church, Band, Basketball, Ski Club, Jazz Ensemble, and Model United Nations.
I hope to pursue a career as a maritime pilot or possibly work in port/terminal operations. I also intend to sail in college. I am very excited for this process and I am thankful and appreciative for any advice.
