Invisalign at USAFA

I am a candidate for class of 26 and I'm wondering if getting Invisalign (removable) medically disqualifies me or if I am allowed to use them throughout BCT. I wasn't originally planning on getting Invisalign but I thought about it more a few months after my DODMERB exam and now I am supposed to get them in two days. Will this need to be reported to DODMERB and will it be medically disqualifying?

From what I understood since I used to have Invisalign is that the active treatment has to be completed before you start BCT.

i can say when my DD went through DODMERB fall 2020 she had to submit a form from the ortho that active treatment would be completed and she would only have a night retainer at that point

e. Current orthodontic appliances (mounted or removable, e.g., Invisalign®) for continued
active treatment unless:
(1) The appliance is permanent or removable retainer(s); or
(2) An orthodontist (civilian or military) provides documentation that:
(a) Active orthodontic treatment will be completed before being sworn in to active
duty;

so does this mean removable trays for Invisalign would be permitted during BCT? Should I report it to DODMERB or is it easier to just not get it done until after BCT?
