Is it okay to send a follow up email to Team Silver?

About a week ago (11/30) I sent an email to Team Silver about clarification for a weirdly worded decision letter I received in my portal and about adding an honor to my application that I earned after I had already submitted my candidate kit. I understand that they're probably backed up right now with emails, but since the portal had a December 17 deadline on it, when would be the right time, if any, to send a follow up email?

Thank you in advance!

You can also ask your Mentor ALO indicated on your portal. DS' MALO had answered more quickly on some emailed questions/concerns. And if MALO doesn't know, he seems to have a direct line to ask admissions. Usually gets back with an answer within a day or two.

If u think it's urgent, you can call the number they provided on the portal.

They answer emails faster than phone. The phone number is not regularly monitored

Thank you for the advice. They emailed back today and answered most of my questions, but completely ignored the part of my email where I asked about adding an honor to my application. The honor was national merit semifinalist, which I don't think really adds much to my application anyways, and I assume it isn't very vital if they didn't respond about it, so I'm not going to follow up on it.

Thanks again for the help!

National Merit Semifinalist is a pretty big deal to have on your application. Atleast it is for most other colleges

If it was DS, we would update the file for NM semi-finalist. DS was NM commended (one step below semi-finalist) and he put that in accomplishments. They did say candidates should update their files with significant activities and accomplishments.

Maybe your school counselor can help as well. There is an official letter given to the school when a student achieves standing in National Merit Scholarship commendation (or semi/finalist).
