Is there anyway to apply for ROTC for another college?

Just for some context, the college I got accepted to doesn't have an ROTC, is there anyway to do ROTC at another school?

You can see if the school has partnered with nearby schools and possibly participate in the unit as a Crosstown member. So, you would attend your college while travelling weekly to the other school to participate.

You don't have to respond, but what college and what branch are you trying to work in?
 
They answer pretty well up there, but just to triple clarify, unless there is an already registered crosstown associated school, then you will not be able to do rotc at another school.

For example, there are dozens of school in NYC. Only a couple have ROTC crosstown agreements/units. If you went to The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, you could not do ROTC as they have no agreement with Fordham Army ROTC, despite all being a30 min drive away.

I was accepted in UC Merced. Since I my ultimate goal is to become a pilot, I want to join NROTC or AFROTC.

No, it doesn’t. What’s your goal? To go to a college that has afrotc or nrotc? Then pick a school that has at least one or both either on campus or is a crosstown affiliate and go for it.

If that’s your goal then selecting a school that doesn’t like Merced is a disconnect. As another noted find a school like Pima Cc that you can participate in rotc through or find a school with rolling admission. Do you go to a hs? Meet with guidance and get help. Post any questions if you need help after at least trying to find the answers first. Search schools that have afrotc or NROTC or are a crosstown affiliate. Lots of them on the west coast and elsewhere.

Do you want to be a military pilot or commercial/ airline atp? Plenty of paths to become a pilot if your goal is not to serve.

OK, turns out I'm not clear, but I will clarify right now

My goal is to become a fighter/transport/AWACS pilot. Where I live, there are plenty of cross registration with places like UC Berkeley or University of San Francisco. My counselers didn't help much, but I did talk to them about getting ROTCs. But Merced is in the middle of nowhere. And FYI, I did do my research, and talked to admissions directly, and the said that we need to go to UC Berkeley for it. Where I am lost is how to apply for ROTC for another school.

Cross towns are only with specific, approved partners. You cannot participate in ROTC from elsewhere.

Simply Merced has no agreement with Berkeley, or anyone. See below. You if interested will need to attend a school that either hosts a detachment or unit, or has a cross town agreement in place. Find a school like that, apply/enroll and sign up as a college programmer with the ROTC unit. Good luck.

Contact Fresno State Air Force ROTC
Fresno State has Air Force ROTC and a cross enrollment agreement with Merced College. UC Merced has a 'Coming Soon' link to AF ROTC via the Veteran Services web page so an agreement may be pending. Good luck.

Cross enrollment arrangements can be tough logistically with all the required travel and class scheduling.

Just an update, I toured San Jose State, which also has AFROTC (I was also accepted there), I talked to a few cadets there, and now I have the information to apply for ROTC at SJSU. Thanks for the help.
