Are Israel's bombings of Hezbollah's sites justified even though they tend to mix themselves in with civilians?
Damned straight.
And before anyone chimes in with "The Geneva Convention says...", allow me to remind you that the Geneva convention A) applies to uniformed armies at war under the flags of nations, not terrorists, and B) the Convention explicitly allows the attack of an otherwise protected target if said target is being used by the enemy for military purposes.
If Hezbollah set up a missile launcher under the Dome of the Rock, Israel would be justified in removing that building from the map, even if it is a protected "holy" site. The site loses its protected status the instant it is used militarily, and the side responsible for whatever happens to it is the side that used it for military purposes.
Don't you just love it? Hezbollah launches rockets against Israel from behind UN "peacekeeping" forces (which do nothing to stop the launch, and thus maintain the peace, nor do they MOVE), and when Israel responds, it's ISRAEL that is criticized.
The war on terror is over. We lost. The idiots on the political left have seen to it.
