So during my last nomination interview they did not know i had received an LOA to usna (until i told them). I put it in my packet but i am assuming they didn't see it? Should I contact my MOC office and confirm they know I have an LOA?

When my son received his LOA, we made copies and sent it to each of the members of congress and when he went in for the interview, he had extra copies just in case the interviewers were not aware.

The Members of Congress are supposed to know because they have direct communications with the Academy. I would follow up just to be sure

On the bottom of my LOA, it said sent to: with the 2 senators and congressmen's name. So, the academy does send it to the nom sources as well as the candidate.

Agree with goldtrim3 and USNA_TF_12, however I am not so sure that each MOCs office is well organized. DS got an LOA last year in late Sept. which was before his MOC packets were due/submitted. Only the Congressional Rep. was aware of the LOA in the interviews before it came up in conversation. So, IMHO, be sure to include a copy of the LOA in the packet you submit and be sure to make a point of bringing it up in one of your answers during the interview. Just because they should know doesn't mean they will! :thumb:
